- Nerve damage can cause loss of feeling — you might not notice injuries.
- Poor circulation slows healing, increasing risk of infection.
- Untreated wounds can lead to serious complications.

✅ Simple steps to protect your feet:
- Check your feet daily for cuts, blisters, or swelling.
- Wash and moisturize, but avoid lotion between toes.
- Wear comfortable shoes and clean socks.
- Never walk barefoot.
- See a doctor immediately if you spot wounds that don’t heal.

Wound Care Malaysia got an approval wt SST signed to kick-start wound treatment for 100 B40 Indians under MITRA JPM and was promised disbursement of fund in April and till now there is still no news.This fund is intended to treat & heal diabetic foot ulcers for the poor and we dont hv a clue why its not disbursed till now...Sad!we hv held few public for public forum n Press conference(12/10) to highlight our issues.It is not only us,there are 43 SST holders in the same limbo.This is not a matter of 43 but but about 5000 Indians will benefit for 43 high impact projects to transform the Undian community.We hv not given up...
