Yes, we should normalize breastfeeding and pumping at the workplace. It shows that women can continue being productive professionals while still providing nourishment for their babies. Returning to work does not mean the end of breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding and lactation services will be stopped temporarily for 1 month due to some family emergency reasons. Sorry for any inconvenience.

From ICU & OT… to supporting mothers and babies in a different way.
Same clinical mindset.
Same heart.
Just a new purpose.
I used to ask: “How much blood loss?”
Now I ask: “How can I support you on your feeding journey?”
Because breastfeeding (or pumping) isn’t just about numbers, ounces, or perfection.
It’s about real life, real challenges, and real mothers trying their best every single day.
In my consultations, we focus on:
• Holistic support — not just latch or milk
• Your physical, emotional & practical challenges
• Evidence-based guidance, without pressure
• A safe space — no judgement, ever
Whether you breastfeed, pump, mix feed, or are still figuring things out…
You deserve support that meets you where you are.
Because what gets supported, gets sustained. And what feels safe, grows.

To every mother reading this —
You are not alone. You are doing better than you think.

Secretory IgA: forms a proctective barrier on mucosal surfaces ( gut & respiratory tract)
Lactoferrin: inhibits bacterial growth by sequestration of iron, antiviral and antiinflammatory properties.
Lysozyme: break down bacterial cell walls
HMOs: prebiotics for beneficial gut bacteria, prevent pathogens from binding to infant’s gut
Leucocytes: living immune cells
Cytokines: regulate infant’s immnue responses

Low pump output doesn’t mean low milk supply.
A breast pump is simply a tool —
it doesn’t always reflect how much milk your body is actually producing.
At our clinic, we provide support and education for breastfeeding mothers using breast pumps as a tool to express milk whenever needed, such as:
• When mother and baby are separated
• Preparing to return to work
• Relactation
• Induced lactation

We offer 3 types of pumping support services:
1️⃣ Fl**ge & Pump Assessment
A detailed session to optimise comfort, fit, and efficiency
2️⃣ Pump Rental + Fl**ge & Pump Assessment
Includes rental + full personalised assessment
3️⃣ Pump Rental + Simple Sizing & Brief Guidance
A quicker option for basic support

💼 For moms around Cheras
If you are struggling with:
• Pain during pumping
• Inconsistent or low output
• Unsure about fl**ge size
• Not sure how to start or use a pump
👉 You don’t have to figure it out alone.
We’re here to support you with practical, evidence-based guidance tailored to your needs ✨

Breastfeeding is not just mechanical — it’s neurohormonal + emotional.
Your brain plays a powerful role in how milk flows.
Same body, different state → different milk flow

🌧️ Nocebo Effect (Negative Influence)
When a mother feels stressed, doubtful, or fearful, her body may respond negatively.
👉 This can lead to:
Reduced oxytocin release
Delayed or weak let-down
Lower pump output (even if supply is adequate)
💡 Examples:
“My milk is not enough”
Anxiety about baby’s intake
Fear from past negative experiences
Pressure or lack of support
⚠️ Important:
This is physiological, not “just psychological”
(Cortisol ↑ → Oxytocin ↓ → Milk flow affected)

Low output ≠ always low supply
Sometimes it’s:
‼️Nocebo effect (stress blocking let-down)
Inefficient milk removal
Pump-related issues

Key Message for Mothers:
Your body responds to how safe and supported you feel.
👉 Calm, confidence, and reassurance
= supports milk flow
👉 Stress, fear, and doubt
= can inhibit it

"Kesian baby asyik kena cucuk tumit ambil darah. Beli je lah lampu biru kat Soppee ni, pasang kat rumah sambil susukan anak. Jimat pun jimat, tak payah admit wad!"

Mak ayah, kami faham anda penat dan cemas bila tengok kulit anak makin kuning. Tapi tolonglah, JANGAN CARI JALAN PINTAS!

Kalau anak nampak kuning, jumpa doktor. Periksa darah. Biar pakar tentukan paras bilirubin anak anda.

Tolong jangan jadikan tubuh kecil bayi anda sebagai tempat mencuba nasib. Kelewatan dan keyakinan membuta tuli pada alat yang salah boleh membawa penyesalan seumur hidup.
