In conjunction with World Optometry Day 2025, the UCSI School of Optometry successfully organised a free vision screening event that was open to the UCSI community and the public around Cheras. We are proud to share that we managed to screen around 100 individuals during the event.

In addition to the basic screening, we also conducted comprehensive eye examinations for underprivileged students and provided them with free spectacles to help improve their quality of life.

This meaningful outreach would not have been possible without the support and dedication of our generous sponsors, Focus Point Vision Care Group, Bausch + Lomb Malaysia, committed faculty members, enthusiastic optometry students, and the UCSI Optometry Student Association (UOSA).

Thank you to everyone who played a part in making this event a success. Let’s continue to champion eye health and serve our community with care and compassion.
