Dr. Hoo Yin Shi Dr. Hoo Yin Shi is a Dental Surgeon with special interest in minimally invasive aesthetic and preven She is now registered as a qualified dentist in Australia.

Dr. Hoo graduated from the National University of Malaysia with a Gold Medal Award (Best All-Round Student) in year 2009. Besides, she was the recipient of the Honor Scholarship Award (2004-2005) which was awarded to the top achiever of the faculty. In June 2013, Dr Hoo completed all written and oral examinations for admission into the Australian Dental Council (ADC). In July 2014, Dr Hoo was admitted as a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, MFDS RCS (Edin) through a series of examination. Dr Hoo was certified as an Invisalign doctor in March 2013, after attending the certification course organized by Invisalign. Dr Hoo is currently attending a number of certificate courses for dental implantology. In June 2014, she completed a course in Boston, USA with the International Team of Implantology (ITI). Besides being a firm believer of evidence based dentistry, Dr. Hoo is a keen researcher. She has received a Gold Medal for winning SEAADE-GC Dental Asia Student Prevention Table Clinician Competition in year 2009. Most recently, she was awarded the Best Presenter Award in oral presentation at CDA/MDA Joint International Scientific Convention (2012). Prior to private practice, Dr. Hoo was appointed as a Dental Officer in the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry by Ministry of Health, Malaysia. Besides her hospital based experience, she has worked along with other specialists which gave her the opportunities to practice all aspects of dentistry and to serve people of diverse cultures. Dr. Hoo has been actively involved in organizing dental conferences to benefit the profession and volunteered in several dental health promotion campaigns.

It’s a wrap on our first Invisalign Day of the year ✨

Such a full day at work… meeting so many lovely patients, hearing their stories, and being part of their journey to a better smile. I’m always reminded how much this goes beyond just teeth… it’s really about confidence, and little life changes that mean so much 🤍

And in between all that… we managed to pull off a surprise for .sheneykoh before her birthday tomorrow 🫶🏻

Ending the day feeling full, grateful, and inspired.

Day 5 in Iceland 🇮🇸

Today felt like standing at the edge of the world… literally.

From the little church on the hill in Vík,
to the wild cliffs of Dyrhólaey,
and all the way to what’s marked as the geographically southernmost point of Iceland…

Black sand, crashing waves, endless ocean views. Every stop felt unreal in its own way.

I think this might be one of my favourite days so far 🖤🌊✨

Reynisfjara 🖤

One of my favorite places in Iceland… and I can see why it was chosen as a filming location for Game of Thrones. The entire place feels unreal, almost cinematic in its own way.

Black sand stretching endlessly, waves crashing harder than anywhere I’ve ever seen, and the wind… loud, wild, almost like its own soundtrack playing in the background.

And then this moment, standing inside the cave, watching the golden waves roll in.

So powerful, and so beautiful…

I read somewhere: “Living your best life means slowing down enough to see how good it already is “, and that’s beautiful.

And somehow, standing here at Seljalandsfoss, that felt real.

No music, no voiceover… just the sound of water falling from 60 metres above, steady and endless, like time slowing down for a moment.

Seljalandsfoss isn’t the biggest waterfall in Iceland, but it’s one of the few in the world where you can walk completely behind it… stepping into a hidden cavern carved by years of flowing glacial water.

And at sunset, everything softens… the light, the air, even time itself.

And in that moment, you don’t need anything more. You just know you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.✨

Day 4 in Iceland 🇮🇸

原本只是去看风景的一天，
却变成了一路认识新朋友的旅程。

Kerið火山口在冬天安静得不像话，
雪轻轻覆盖在火山红土上，
湖面像一面结冰的镜子，
把整个世界都放慢了。

接着到了Friðheimar，
一切都围绕着番茄展开。
番茄汤温暖又浓郁，
番茄果汁清新爽口，
还有各种以番茄为主角的料理，
全都来自温室里现摘的食材。

我最喜欢的是番茄盐，
那种带着鲜味的umami，
让每一口都更有层次，
当然也忍不住带了一点回家。

坐在温室里，被一排排番茄植株包围，
外面是冰天雪地，
里面却温暖得像另一个世界。
然后一路开着车，
停停走走，
遇见不同的人，说几句简单的话，
却莫名地让这段旅程更有温度。

sutgyl 总是能在每个地方交到新朋友，
而我才发现，
原来road trip最有趣的，
从来不只是风景，
而是这些不期而遇的人。

有些旅程就是这样，
没有特别安排，
却刚好发生了最好的事情 ✨

Icelandic horses 🐴🤎☀️

One of the moments I was most excited for… and they did not disappoint 🥹😍

I even wore a fuzzy coat to match the vibe, fully committed to the aesthetic 😂

But I think I committed a little too hard…
because they kept nibbling my coat like I was one of them 🤍

Honestly, not mad about it… they were way too cute!

Somehow this turned into one of those moments that felt so effortless but so perfect!

If there’s one phrase that captures the Icelandic way of life, it might be this:

Þetta reddast.

A simple Icelandic phrase that means
“this will all work out, one way or another.”

Not quite “just let it be,”
but something quieter, steadier…

A way of moving through uncertainty with trust.

In a place where the weather shifts without warning,
where plans change and roads close,
you learn a different kind of balance
to prepare what you can,
and release what you can’t control.

It’s not about doing nothing.
It’s about doing your best,
and then accepting what comes.

To me, it carries a quiet, profound philosophy.
Because when things feel completely dark,
when you can’t see a way forward,
sometimes the best thing you can do
is to let go… and trust.

Trust that somehow, someway,
things will unfold as they should.

And the most amazing thing is that…
they almost always do ✨

Roadtrip 的第一站是 📍Seltún
作为冰岛西南部的地热活跃区
这里的沸腾泥浆、喷气孔、硫磺沉淀
把地表染成黄、红、绿的斑斓色彩
像误入了另一个星球🪐

冰岛南部的千年苔原更像异世界
一路延伸的绿色地毯
软软的 像抹茶茸茸小蛋糕 🤎

这些苔原形成于火山喷发之后
黑色的火山岩在千年风霜中
慢慢被苔藓覆盖
最后长成厚达10厘米的绿色绒毯

冰岛的天气说变就变
上一秒阳光明媚☀️
下一秒就是大风雪❄️
而且每过几公里
又是完全不同的风景
有点像人生
无法预测
但也因此充满惊喜 ✨

First moments in Iceland, and it already feels like a dream 🤍

Straight from the airport to the Blue Lagoon, that milky blue water, softened by silica, glowing under the sky… almost unreal!

Skin felt instantly smooth, especially after the three masks from the premium experience… the glow says it all ✨

Ended the day with dinner at Lava Restaurant at Blue Lagoon, it couldn’t get any better even though my luggage decided to take a little detour and arrived a day later… somehow it didn’t take away from the magic ☺️

Iceland, you had me from day one 🫶🏻
