GOMUKHASANA (Half Cow Face Pose) is a visually deceiving seated pose. An obvious knot releaser for our shoulders and neck from all the smartphone usage we do everyday, this asana is also a big hip opener to help loosen up tight hip joints from too much sitting, driving, running, cycling or weightlifting.
Our teachers at Upward Yoga emphasize on physiological benefits on most poses during your classes with us especially in BREATHE STRETCH HEAL, instead of simply giving you names of poses to get you there; as we believe that yoga not only improves one’s flexibility, strength and balance but done with guidance and visualization, yoga can heal you too.

At Upward Yoga, we provide changing room, shower and prayer room + mat + cloth for Muslims to perform Maghrib prayers.
