Description: Recent years have seen significant advances in both diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis caused by both drug susceptible and drug resistant strains. Molecular and genomic approaches have been “game changes” for the diagnostic lab and new treatment regimens are shorter and, in many cases, safer.
