KEPERLUAN PERAKUAN AMALAN KEPADA PENGAMAL BERDAFTAR PROFESION KESIHATAN BERSEKUTU DI BAWAH AKTA PROFESION KESIHATAN BERSEKUTU 2016 (AKTA 774)

Adalah dimaklumkan bahawa Perintah Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu (Pindaan Jadual Kedua) 2022 di bawah Akta Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu 2016 (Akta 774) telah diwartakan dan mula berkuatkuasa pada 24 Mac 2022. Pindaan Jadual Kedua 2022 ini menyenaraikan sebanyak 16 Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu yang akan dikawal selia di bawah Akta Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu 2016 (Akta 774) (Lampiran 1).

Seseorang pengamal yang berdaftar dan berhasrat untuk menjalankan amalan dalam mana-mana profesion kesihatan bersekutu dikehendaki memiliki perakuan amalan yang sah, sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan di bawah Seksyen 22, Akta 774. Tempoh sah perakuan amalan ini adalah dua (2) tahun. Bayaran yang dikenakan adalah seperti berikut:
1. Permohonan Perakuan Amalan (Pertama Sekali Sahaja) - RM50
2. Pengeluaran Perakuan Amalan - RM200
*Bayaran untuk penjawat awam dikecualikan (RM200)

Sehubungan itu, kerjasama YBhg. Datuk/Dato'/Datin/Dr./Tuan/Puan adalah dipohon untuk memaklumkan perkara ini kepada semua pegawai di bawah seliaan YBhg. Datuk/Dato'/Datin/Dr./Tuan/Puan yang telah berdaftar, agar memohon perakuan amalan sebelum tempoh peralihan berakhir bagi membolehkan mereka menjalankan amalan secara sah.

Untuk makluman jua, Majlis Profesion Kesihatan Bersekutu Malaysia (MPKBM) telah melanjutkan tempoh peralihan bagi pendaftaran pengamal profesion kesihatan bersekutu sehingga 31 Disember 2026. Pelanjutan ini bertujuan memastikan semua pengamal mendaftar dan memperoleh perakuan amalan sebagaimana yang diperuntukkan di bawah Akta 774.

Permohonan perakuan amalan akan dijalankan secara dalam talian menggunakan aplikasi Malaysian Healthcare Practitioners System (MHPS) melalui pautan https://mhps.moh.gov.my/. Panduan permohonan perakuan amalan boleh diakses melalui https://hq.moh.gov.my/alliedhealth/index.php/ms/site-mahpc/info-mahpc.

REQUIREMENT FOR PRACTISING CERTIFICATE FOR REGISTERED PRACTITIONERS OF ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONS UNDER THE ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONS ACT 2016 (ACT 774)

Please be informed that the Allied Health Professions (Amendment of Second Schedule) 2022 under the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774) has been gazetted and came into effect on 24 March 2022. This 2022 amendment to the Second Schedule lists 16 Allied Health Professions that will be regulated under the Allied Health Professions Act 2016 (Act 774) (Appendix 1).

Any registered practitioner who intends to practise in any of the allied health professions is required to possess a valid practising certificate, as stipulated under Section 22 of Act 774. The validity period of this practising certificate is two (2) years. The applicable fees are as follows:
1. Application for Practising Certificate (First Time Only) โ€“ RM50
2. Issuance of Practising Certificate โ€“ RM200
*Government servants are exempted from the RM200 fee

In this regard, we would like to seek for the cooperation of YBhg. Datuk/Datoโ€™/Datin/Dr./Sir/Madam to inform all professionals under your supervision who have registered, to apply for a practising certificate before the transition period ends, so that they may practise lawfully.

For your information, the Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC) has extended the transition period for the registration of allied health profession practitioners until 31 December 2026. This extension aims to ensure that all practitioners register and obtain their practising certificates as provided under Act 774.

The application for the practising certificate will be conducted online via the Malaysian Healthcare Practitioners System (MHPS) at https://mhps.moh.gov.my/. Guidelines for the practising certificate application can be accessed at https://hq.moh.gov.my/alliedhealth/index.php/ms/site-mahpc/info-mahpc.
