A healthy heart needs more than treatment, it also needs comfort, patience, and someone who genuinely cares.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀, 𝗶𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱

Mitral regurgitation is a common type of heart valve disease. Patients may notice getting breathless more easily, feeling more tired than usual, or needing to rest more often, while some may not notice any symptoms at first until it becomes more severe.

This happens when the valve does not close properly, causing some blood to flow backwards. As a result, the heart has to work harder, and over time it can begin to stretch and weaken. In many cases, it can now be repaired through a small puncture without open heart surgery, using techniques like transcatheter edge to edge repair (TEER), which allows for a quicker recovery.

For some jobs, we get used to long hours on our feet, constantly moving, constantly going, until tired legs start to feel normal, almost expected. But sometimes, that heaviness or aching is not just part of the routine, it is your body trying to tell you something is not quite right.

When blood does not flow properly in your veins, it can start to build up instead of moving back to the heart. Over time, this may lead to varicose veins, swelling, and discomfort that slowly becomes part of your everyday life. It may not seem serious at first, but it is more than just how your legs look, and it is never just a cosmetic issue.
