Bringing multidisciplinary approach to life in collaboration with psychiatrists, counsellors and clinical psychologists. We have all definitely grown leaps and bounds compared to when we conducted our first ACT training.

The Department of Psychiatry, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UPM, in collaboration with the Malaysia Chapter of ACBS, will be organising the 7th annual "Introduction to Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)" workshop.

This hands-on, experiential workshop aims to introduce mental health practitioners to ACT. The trainers involved are experienced ACT practitioners from various professional backgrounds. The ratio of trainers to participants will also be kept low to ensure a conducive learning experience. As with previous workshops, guest facilitators from the chapter will also be present to interact with participants. Free group supervision will be available for participants after the workshop.

21-22 August, 2025
Mini Auditorium, TNCPI Office, UPM

Registration fees:
RM 430 (normal)
RM 380 (before 31 July)
RM 320 (students/ allied health practitioners)
RM 280 (ACBS members)

Limited to 40 pax. CPD points available.
A group discount/fee subsidy is available upon request.

It was a pleasure to share time and knowledge with this group. Thank you Malaysian Mental Health Association for the invitation to conduct this training!

Our first event for 2025 is an “Introduction to ACT” workshop organised in collaboration with the Malaysian Mental Health Association.

Dr Eugene Koh and Ms Kah Mun Wan were the invited facilitators for this session.

We plan to collaborate and contribute more with MMHA soon in education and interventional activities.
