Tooth ache persist after dental work? It may not be the tooth that cause the pain, the greatest culprit of facial pain, TMJ problems, Tinnitus, Migraines, snoring and sinus are traced back to this nerve.
In VL Therapy we deal with it daily and in almost everyone of our clients who see us for various issues have certain degree of tension in this nerve as it reacts to daily stress.

不只是膽固醇的問題,而是慢性發炎讓免疫系統亂掉了:揭開動脈粥樣硬化的細胞內幕

有時候病人會納悶:「我膽固醇沒超標,平常也不怎麼吃油,為什麼會有動脈硬化?」
其實「這不一定是吃出來的,真正的關鍵是免疫。」

我們都以為動脈硬化是吃太油、膽固醇太高的結果,但最新的科學研究打破這個迷思。原來,真正讓血管變窄、斑塊形成的,常常是免疫系統的過度反應,也就是身體長期處在『慢性發炎』的狀態。

這不是三天兩頭大病,而是每天小小的累積:沒睡好、吃太快、壓力太大、腸道菌出問題… 這些加總起來,才是血管慢慢「生氣」的根源。

血管裡的免疫細胞,其實也會疲憊過勞

過去我們只能從組織切片看到斑塊的樣子,但現在,透過單細胞轉錄體學(single-cell transcriptomics)與蛋白質體學(proteomics),科學家可以一顆一顆細胞去聽它們「說話」。這些技術就像顯微鏡裡的麥克風,讓我們聽見血管裡的低語。

結果很驚人:原來血管內的免疫細胞,不只是防禦敵人,還會「誤傷隊友」。巨噬細胞、T細胞、B細胞,有時候在錯誤訊號下,把自己人當壞人打,把氧化的膽固醇當病毒攻擊,結果變成血管自己打自己。

尤其T細胞,原本是戰士,長期應戰後竟然出現「免疫疲憊」(T-cell exhaustion),就像身體裡的員警被操到快崩潰,疲倦、迷惘、亂抓人。研究發現,這樣的細胞反應,反而是導致斑塊不穩、甚至心肌梗塞的關鍵。

B細胞,也可能在亂報敵情

B細胞原本是做抗體的「生產線」,但現在發現,它們也有可能錯認膽固醇為外敵,製造錯誤的抗體,讓發炎火上加油。某些特殊的CD11c⁺ B細胞甚至會隨年齡升高,在高齡者的血管斑塊裡特別多,跟心臟病的嚴重程度也有明顯關聯。

換句話說,不是誰吃太多肥肉,而是免疫系統「認錯好人」,搞錯了目標,才是這場血管風暴的起點。

內皮細胞、平滑肌細胞也「變心」了

血管裡的內皮細胞和平滑肌細胞,原本只是乖乖當牆壁,穩定血管。結果研究發現,它們也可能在壓力下「轉職」:變成泡沫細胞、骨化細胞,或是分泌大量膠原蛋白參與鈣化,讓斑塊變硬、變脆,增加破裂風險。
這些變化,不是一夜之間發生的,而是來自我們每天的生活習慣,一點一滴養出來的。

吃得健康不夠,活得抗發炎才是關鍵

這些細胞的故事,對我們來說不只是研究室的冷冰冰數據,而是每天可以實踐的健康提醒。因為那些讓免疫系統亂了節奏的因素,太熟悉了:
• 熬夜滑手機
• 三餐不定、吃得急又甜
• 久坐少動、情緒壓力大
• 腸胃不適、便秘、胃脹氣

這些看似小事,卻讓血管裡的免疫系統一直處於警戒狀態,導致細胞一個接一個出錯。

如果我們能多一點好菌、多一點深色蔬果、多一點運動、早點睡覺,不只是血糖穩、膽固醇降,連免疫系統也會變得更冷靜、更聰明,不再亂打錯人。

生活裡的抗發炎行動指南

不是要您做什麼劇烈改變,而是從微小開始:
喝一杯優格、飯多咀嚼幾下、晚上早睡30分鐘、飯前先吃蔬菜、每週快走三次……
這些看似簡單的事,卻能讓免疫細胞恢復理智,不再對血管下手。
當您做這些小行動時,您不是在減肥,不是只為了健康數據,而是在幫助血管裡那些疲憊的細胞,重新找回平衡。
