Reframe Your Thoughts

Every notice when we are angry it fuels the way we interpret situations.

If you tend to assume the worst or believe people are intentionally trying to upset you, your anger will continue to grow. Instead, practice reframing your thoughts.

Ask yourself: Is this situation as bad as I’m making it out to be? or Could there be another explanation for what happened? By shifting your mindset, you can reduce the intensity of your anger and approach situations with a clearer perspective.

Learn how to reframe your thoughts and master emotional control. Join our group of women releasing the emotional burden and taking back their power.

It has been said that anger can have significant effects on both physical and mental health.

Physically, it raises blood pressure, increases heart rate, and can contribute to heart disease, headaches, and digestive issues.

When a person holds on to their anger it becomes chronic and as a result, weakens the immune system, making the body more susceptible to illnesses.

Mentally, anger elevates stress levels, impairs judgment, and can lead to anxiety, depression, and long-term emotional distress.

Over time, it can also disrupt relationships and contribute to feelings of isolation, worsening overall well-being.

Managing anger is crucial for maintaining a balanced, healthy life.

Those who hold on to their anger will more likely suffer from:

1. Heart Disease: People who experience chronic anger are three times more likely to suffer from heart attacks or coronary artery disease. A study by Harvard Medical School found that the risk of a heart attack increases by nearly five times in the two hours following an angry outburst .

2. Blood Pressure: Chronic anger contributes to high blood pressure, which is a risk factor for cardiovascular disease. The American Heart Association reports that intense anger can cause a temporary rise in blood pressure by as much as 20 to 30 mm Hg .

3. Immune System: Research from Ohio State University found that anger and stress weaken the immune system, with angry people taking 40% longer to heal from wounds .

4. Mental Health: Chronic anger is linked to increased levels of anxiety and depression. According to the American Psychological Association (APA), long-term anger contributes to feelings of isolation and low self-esteem, affecting mental health severely .

These statistics show how unmanaged anger can take a serious toll on both the body and mind.

Communicate Assertively, Not aggressively

When we get angry, it is easy to just react to it and say things we don't mind but in a fit of anger, we blurt it out hurting not only the person you are angry with but also yourself. When you point one finger 4 fingers point back.

Anger often leads to aggressive communication, which can damage relationships and escalate conflicts. To manage your anger more effectively, practice assertive communication instead. Assertiveness means expressing your feelings and needs clearly without being confrontational. Use “I” statements like I feel upset when… or I need more support with… rather than blaming others. This approach helps you maintain respect for yourself and others while addressing the issue calmly.

Do you want to learn how to communicate your needs without letting anger take over? Our supportive community for women offers strategies and tools to help you speak with confidence and clarity. Join Us Today

Channel Anger Into Productive Outlets

We know when anger hits, it can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to control you. So instead of letting the anger take control or you, one of the best ways to manage anger is to channel it into something constructive.

Try adding physical activities like working out, going for a walk, or practicing yoga can release pent-up energy. Creative outlets like journaling, painting, or even cooking can also help process the emotion. Find your personal outlet and let your anger serve as fuel for growth, not destruction.

If you are struggling to find a healthy outlet for your anger, our supportive group for women offers resources and exercises to help you turn your anger into a force for positive change.

I completed my 9 month Tarot Therapy course with Marina Lovasz. It was fantastic! A very different course in tarot not just about reading but about the psychology and many different modality that I can apply in my business. This isn't just about a reading, it's a deeper work on the inner self with the therapies that I am now equipped with. Thank you Marina Lovasz. I encourage those who have an interest in tarot whether beginner or a seasoned tarot to take this course to expand your readings.
