Last week we proudly celebrated Sunway Medical Centre Velocityâs (SMCV) 6th Anniversary â a milestone that reflects not only the growth of our hospital but also the strength of Sunway Healthcare Groupâs (SHG) vision for healthcare.
When we opened our doors in September 2019, our goal was clear: to bring quality healthcare closer to the community and to make healthcare more accessible for the people in and around this vibrant part of Kuala Lumpur.
Looking back, we are proud of how far we have come. From being recognised with multiple awards to expanding our services, SMCV has made its mark as a trusted healthcare providerâa testament to the calibre of our doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and support teams. It is therefore especially meaningful that, on this anniversary, we celebrate the people who have been with us throughout the years with the Long Service Award Ceremony.
An envelope, representing a time capsule, was sealed by Datoâ Lau Beng Long, President of Sunway Healthcare Group; Dr Khoo Chow Huat, Managing Director of Hospital and Healthcare Operations at Sunway Healthcare Group; and Ms Susan Cheow, CEO of SMCV, during the 6th Anniversary celebration that signifies our hopes, vision and commitment for the future of SMCV in the years to come.
As a token of appreciation for their dedication and service, every member of our SMCV family was presented with a special 6th Anniversary gift â the golden âElfy Pinâ. With SHGâs expansion across Malaysia, we look forward to walking this path together, creating more opportunities for our people to grow and thrive with us.
