This lady presented with sudden loss of vision in her right eye and was diagnosed with bleeding at her macula. The most common cause would be macula degeneration . However in this case , it was due to a ruptured retinal artery macroanuerysm (burst artery ) . She under went Vitrectomy surgery and made a good recovery . The first scan on the top is the photo and OCT scan on presentation and the scan below is 4 months after surgery showing complete removal of the blood at the macula and normal fovea anatomy .
