A CARER STORY

My experienced in caring a Palliative patient with a severe pain and restlessness is the most fatiguable duty that i encountered as a carer. Palliative care requires a resilient patience and if a carer do not have this interpersonal skill, there is a tendency the carer will quit the job on the spot.

Can you stand for 24hours with out sitting when the patient screams in pain, render a non-stop massage even your hands are tired just to give comfort to your patient because pain and restlessness medicines aren’t working and the wait for injectable Morphine are too slow and scheduled. When the patient is wild due to her/his pain how is your patience can you still continue to go on 48 hours sleepless nights or more days. To be a carer is all about patience. and I Salute all the Carers Sacrifice.
