Back to basics to heal your liver:
▪️Sleep by 10-11pm
▪️Eat balanced diet and do not skip your meals! (Your liver needs a lot of B vitamins, Vit C & antioxidants). Undereating is starving your liver and thus can’t function properly.
▪️drink 2-3 litres of water a day
▪️Get your daily dose of morning sunlight
▪️eat protein-rich breakfast (25-30g protein) and no coffee on empty stomach

Acne that was recurrent for years in this patient and only temporarily resolved by medications & could not find the right skincare. Was also given steroids repeatedly over the years for her acne. Then recently she seeked my help as she needed to know the root cause.

Patient consent taken.

A patient visited on Monday as he was concerned on his rising blood pressure readings.

During a recent visit to his orthopaedic surgeon's clinic, it was an incidental finding of a raised BP. The nurse informed to visit his doctor.

He went to a nearby retail pharmacy & readings were recorded as shown & finally decided to give the supplement as shown.
No recommendation was given to visit a Doctor despite the readings.

Upon his visit to my practice, he showed the readings & was anxious of his blood pressure readings.
Noticed what was given & told him I need to investigate further as he was only 39 years old.
No active complaints however has strong family history of cardiovascular diseases.

So the results were out, guess what.
Now the diagnosis is
1) Newly Diagnosed Hypertension
2) Newly Diagnosed Diabetes Mellitus
3) Newly Diagnosed Dyslipidemia

The message here is simple.
Despite our practice doing functional medicine approach in treating patients, however initiating conventional western medicine is still practiced after discerning each case based on urgency and necessity.
We combine these practices of medicine for better patient outcomes.
We are trained and know what to do & when to do.

Imagine if the patient didn't visit our practice & decided to just follow what was given.
What will the outcome be?
Patient awareness is crucial too.

Education was given on lifestyle modifications & to follow what was prescribed.
It's better late than never to know your health status. Many think it's not necessary until it's too late.
