Thalapothichil - Herbal scalp pack, for hair and scalp protection. An Ayurveda proceedure used in treatment of scalp damages like - Arumshika (blisters, pustules on scalp), Vicharchika (scalp psoriasis), Darunaka (dandruff) etc, and also hair repairing in splint end, weak shaft, weak root, hair breaking etc. The medicines selected for this proceedure is selected after consultation and understanding the causative factor like dosha involved, presence of toxins etc. The number of sessions may vary from person to person, generally may take 10-15 sessions in 2-3 months period.

Sandhivata (Degenerative Joint Disease) in Ayurveda
​Sandhivata, correlating with Osteoarthritis, is primarily a Vata Dosha disorder causing degeneration.

​Symptoms: Key indicators are Sandhishoola (joint pain, aggravated by movement), Shotha (swelling), Atopa (crepitus or cracking sounds), and difficulty in Akunchana-Prasarana (flexion and extension).

​Therapies: Treatment focuses on pacifying Vata, nourishing tissues, and strengthening the joint.
​Panchakarma procedures like Basti (medicated e***a) are highly effective.

​External therapies include Abhyanga (oil massage), Janu Basti (localized oil pooling on the knee), and Swedana (herbal steam, pindaswedam, upanaham etc).
