Fiber intake.
Leafy green vegetables are packed with iron. We always recommend patients with anemia to consume more vegetables to help to increase their haemoglobin levels. Adequate fiber intake is also linked to lower both blood pressure & cholesterol levels.

Explore different options of exercises that is suitable for you. Not only it can help to maintain a healthy heart, but it is also a form of stress reduction activity.
Limiting salty food intake.
In our country we have a wide range of cuisines to choose from. Hence we need to be mindful of our dietary choices. Limiting salty food can also help us to achieve a good target range of blood pressure and cholesterol readings.
Limiting saturated fat intake.
Fast food, fried, fatty and oily food contains a lot of saturated fat. We understand cravings happen once in awhile, but let’s all try our best to limit these intakes.
Consuming food that contain omega 3 fatty acid.
Salmon, mackerel, tuna, fish oil supplements are food containing omega 3 fatty acid. Of course, prior to starting any supplements, consult your family doctor if it is suitable for you.
