Last Saturday, our team had the opportunity to participate in the 20th Anniversary & Clinic Open Day hosted by KPJ Centre for Sight at their PJ Branch.

Throughout the event, our team conducted health screening sessions while also opening a fundraising booth to engage with the public and raise awareness about the importance of accessible healthcare and patient support.

Making a Real Difference in Patient Care 🤍

Today, our team visited Rumah Seri Kenangan Cheras to conduct a free CKD Health Screening — but it became so much more.

Beyond screenings, our experienced nurses led a hands-on training session for caregivers and staff, covering everything from safe patient positioning to essential caregiving techniques. For those caring for bedridden patients every day, knowledge like this can truly transform their work.
These moments remind us why we do this — equipping people with the skills and confidence to provide better care.

From learning to doing! In our third My Kidney Care Journey session, we took lessons out of the classroom and into the supermarket.

Guided by our nutritionist, Assoc. Prof. Rokiah Don, participants practised smart shopping for a kidney-friendly diet. They learned to read nutrition labels, pick healthier ingredients, and identify foods to avoid for better kidney health.
