UNDERSTANDING HOW THE VULCAN PROSTHETIC HAND WORKS

- The sensors we use in our Myoband are highly sensitive, therefore, we can get signals from the user’s stump much more accurately and allow the band to be compatible with >90% of types of stump and nerve conditions.

- Making it super easy for a majority of users to control the Vulcan prosthetic hand: You only need to simply contract your muscles to close the hand and relax to open it– it's that easy!

- Plus, since no socket integration needed is also a favorable features for many prosthetists. In essence, it takes much less work and time to make socket for Vulcan hand, and it is very easy to calibration the Myoband using Vulcan App. We estimate at least 40% shorter time to fit/serve a Vulcan hand patients’ compared to other myoelectric and bionic hand’s patients.

BioApps Sdn Bhd, a spin-off company of the University of Malaya, https://bioapps.com.my/.

Details on the position:

The position is on a permanent basis with minimum probation of 3 months.
The salary range is RM 2,700- 3,200.

Job Description:
1. Manage the company’s financial accounting and reporting systems
2. To keep accurate records of all daily transactions, (deposits and withdrawals)
3. Process invoices, receipts, and delivery orders for customers/patients.
4. To monitor SQL Journal daily entries.
5. To generate daily sales and expenses report and submit them to the Manager.
6. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
7. Manage relationships with suppliers, bankers, auditors, and tax authorities.
8. Prepare and process all Purchase Orders (PO) and Payment Vouchers (PV) within 1-2 days after receiving the orders.
9. Record all account payables and receivables accurately and promptly.
10. Track the bank deposits and payments including opening and closing customers’ accounts.
11. Reconcile bank statements and ensure the general ledger of the company’s account balance is complete and accurate.
12. Receive and process staff claims and overtime.
13. All works related to finance - other than debtor aging management.

Requirement:
Degree in Accounting or relevant experience in Business Account.
