Raya & CNY are over.
Have you checked your feet? 🤨

As an orthopaedic surgeon, I often see patients who delayed treatment because “it didn’t hurt.”

No pain ≠ no problem.

If you have diabetes, take 2 minutes to do this check today. It could prevent serious complications. 🙏

A “small” wound isn’t always small, especially with diabetes. ⚠️😰

If it’s not healing after 7–10 days, that’s a warning sign.
You might not feel pain, but damage could already be happening.

Watch for:
Redness. Swelling. Dark skin. Discharge. Bad smell.

Don’t wait. Early treatment can save your foot, and your LIFE. 🫵🩺

Kadang-kadang Mak atau Ayah hanya kata, “Tak apa lah… biasa je.”

Tapi bila mereka mula susah berdiri semasa solat, berjalan terhincut selepas Tarawih, atau diam-diam urut lutut pada waktu malam… jangan anggap itu perkara biasa. 🙅‍♂️

POV: This is what treating a diabetic wound looks like. 🫣

Cleaning the wound and removing unhealthy tissue so healing can begin.

Small wound. Big consequences if ignored. ⚠️🩺

Is it muscle pain or joint pain? 🤔

The symptoms can feel similar, but the treatment may be very different.
If the pain affects your daily activities, it’s time to have it checked. 🫵🩺

Throwback to The Original Kinesio Taping Course. 🗓️💫

As an orthopaedic surgeon, I believe treatment doesn’t stop at surgery. It was a great experience to step out of the OT and back into learning mode: revisiting the fundamentals and exploring practical ways to support recovery beyond the operating table. 💪

Always learning, always improving for my patients.

If you love someone with diabetes…check their feet. 👣♥️

2 minutes. Daily.
It could save them from serious complications.
