DSH Institute of Technology Education In 1990, with the approval from the Malaysian Nursing Board, DIT was registered as an Institute of Higher Education.

DSH Institute of Technology (DIT) began as a department registered under the license of Damai Service Hospital (HQ), which is a private hospital in Jalan Ipoh that was established in 1981. With more than 23 years of experience handling the Assistant Nurse Certificate Program, DIT has produced more than 300 graduates, which have found employment both locally and internationally. Passing rate for the Nursing Board Malaysia Registration Examination has been high at 100%. In 2013/14 DIT undertook the challenge to become a reputable independent provider of tertiary education in Malaysia, producing graduates who meet the needs of initially the healthcare and subsequently other industries. It began with the move to new premises at Platinum Walk in Kuala Lumpur, and has taken off with the development of many allied health science programmes.

On 30th July 2025, a group of 25 enthusiastic students from the MPU Community Services program participated in the "Beyond Campus: The Next Step" career development event held at Universiti Malaya-Wales (UM-Wales). Accompanied by Student Affairs Officer and person-in-charge, Ms. Qamarina, the students explored various sessions aimed at enhancing employability and professional readiness.

Organized by UM-Wales in collaboration with Jobstore, the event featured resume clinics, workshops, speed pitching competitions, and on-the-spot interviews — all designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry. The visit provided valuable exposure to real-world career expectations and opportunities, aligning well with MPU's mission to cultivate socially responsible and future-ready graduates.

This experience not only broadened the students' perspectives but also inspired them to take confident steps toward their professional goals.

Hello Tuesday 🤩 Today our sharing is on our two nursing programme 'Certificate in Assistant Nurse' and 'Diploma in Nursing' students.

It was a busy weekend for our two groups of nursing students as whilst one group was preparing for their final examinations, another group of students were volunteering at St Johns Ambulans Malaysia - Singapore First Aid & Nursing Competition 2025 🤩

Well done to our Nursing students for their dedication and enthusiasm !
