Dr. Hasrul from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) and Founder of CIRCLE shared reflections on navigating mental health beyond graduation, a phase often overlooked, yet deeply impactful. The journey doesn’t end at education; continued support, awareness, and community matter just as much in the transition to adulthood. 🤍

Let’s keep building systems that support wellbeing, not just in school, but beyond it.

We completed our very first Portraiture: Slow Down, Look Closer & Meet Someone New workshop 📸✨

A heartfelt thank you to The XD School and Prem for such a meaningful session, and to all the facilitators for your warmth, patience, and support throughout the experience.

We would also like to thank KL Festival 2026 for supporting this initiative and helping create a space for connection, creativity, and inclusion.

Most importantly, thank you to every participant who showed up with openness, curiosity, and kindness. ❤️

The photos captured during the session were truly beautiful — but even more meaningful were the conversations, connections, shared moments, and the experience of slowing down to truly see one another.

And we’re not done yet!
Our second workshop will be happening on 16/5/2026 ✨
If you would like to be part of a gentle, meaningful, and human-centred photography experience, remember to sign up~

“Quiet Dtails.”
We still read it as “details”.
Even though something is missing.

That’s how unnoticed gaps in autism support can feel: invisible until we stop and look closer.

Oasis Place is proud to be part of this meaningful research initiative by Jac Ang, shining light on the support that’s often missed.

Many students grow up believing that being different is something negative. During Forum 3 of Through Our Heart 2026, “When School Hurts - Breaking the Silence of Bullying, Burnout and Sleepless Nights”, Regina shared an important reminder — school environments can be flexible, supportive, and centred on students’ strengths instead of forcing everyone into the same mould.

She highlighted that every student learns differently, and differences should not be seen as weaknesses, but as part of human diversity. Creating safer and more understanding school spaces begins with recognising that there is no single “right” way to learn, cope, or grow.

“Advanced Praxis and Ideation in Trauma, Mental Health and Sensory Integration Masterclass”

⏳ Final Call!

The event is happening in 2 days! 🙌 Don’t miss the opportunity to learn from an internationally renowned expert in praxis and sensory integration. 💫

Understanding children’s behaviours goes beyond what we see. Praxis, especially ideational challenges, can deeply impact a child’s ability to engage, regulate, and participate meaningfully in daily life — particularly when trauma is involved.

We’re honoured to welcome Dr. Teresa A. May Benson (ScD, OTR/L, FAOTA) for an intensive 2-day masterclass exploring the connection between praxis, trauma, and mental health. ✨

Through lectures, live intervention observation, and video case reviews, gain practical, evidence-based strategies to support children’s ideation, emotional regulation, and participation. 💛

📣 Secure your seat before registration closes at 6 pm today!

🎓 Ideal for occupational therapists, speech therapists, clinical psychologists, special needs educators, and allied health professionals working with children.

During Forum 3 of Through Our Heart 2026, “When School Hurts - Breaking the Silence of Bullying, Burnout and Sleepless Nights”, Dr Yoong reminded us how important it is for children with special needs to have at least one adult who is supportive and understanding.

Instead of being labelled as “lazy”, many children simply need someone who sees beyond their struggles and believes in them.

Sometimes, one understanding adult can make all the difference in a child’s life.

You can be that adult.

Wong Yoon Loong, Executive Director of the National Council for the Blind Malaysia (NCBM), shared valuable insights on accessibility, inclusion, and creating a society where persons with visual impairments can participate fully and independently. True inclusion begins when barriers are recognised — and intentionally removed. 🤍

Let’s continue building communities that are accessible, empowering, and inclusive for all.

Happy Mother’s Day to the incredible mothers, caregivers, and champions in our neurodiverse community. 💐

Daphne Choong from the Disability Inclusion Network at Microsoft ASEAN shared how inclusive technology and workplace practices can create more accessible opportunities for persons with disabilities. Inclusion grows when organisations choose to design with empathy, accessibility, and people in mind. 🤍

Let’s continue building spaces where everyone can participate, contribute, and belong.
