🌟 WIE Malaysia x InnoSTEM NEXUS 2025! 🌟

WIE Malaysia was proud to co-organize InnoSTEM NEXUS 2025 in collaboration with the Computer Engineering Club and U-Science UMS on 14 June 2025 at Universiti Malaysia Sabah!

The event brought together 52 brilliant students from 5 secondary schools to compete in a dynamic and hands-on STEM Innovation Competition, an inspiring day of creativity, technology, and teamwork!

💡 Event Highlights:
🔹 STEM Innovation Challenge – Empowering young minds to showcase their creative tech solutions
🎮 Game Talk: LearnAI by Ir. Dr. Mazlina Mamat – Sparking interest in the world of artificial intelligence
🍤 Keropok Creation Challenge – Where AI meets culinary innovation to design unique keropok flavors!

Call for submissions: 2025 "WIE Design" Infographics
------------------------------------------------------------------------
IEEE Region 10 Women in Engineering Committee (R10 WIEC) is calling on all R10 WIE members to consider submitting an infographic regarding the WIE membership. The most creative and beautiful designs will be made into banners to be displayed at the R10 flagship conferences this year.

The printed banners will be gifted to the WIE AGs of the winning entrants at the end of the year and up to USD$50 will be provided for each winning WIE AG to make additional prints of their infographic.

📢 IEEE WIE Malaysia at AFPPD-Malaysia 2025!

We are thrilled to share that IEEE WIE Malaysia participated in the Asia Forum of Parliamentarians on Population and Development (AFPPD)-Malaysia, held on 14th February 2025 at the Banquet Hall, Parliament Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

With the theme “Empowering Family Institution: Achieving Work-Life Balance and Addressing Population Development,” this workshop focused on evaluating current policies, proposing strategic improvements, and shaping recommendations for national development.

Representing IEEE WIE Malaysia were our esteemed delegates: Prof. Dr Fatimah, Prof. Dr. Norliza, and Assoc. Prof Dr. Jamilah, who actively contributed to discussions aimed at fostering sustainable progress for Malaysian families and communities.

The outcomes of this event will be submitted to relevant ministries and authorities, forming the foundation for impactful short-term and long-term policy enhancements. We are honored to be part of this meaningful dialogue and look forward to driving positive change for the future!
