Imagine one wrong move and your liver is half dead!! Feeling grossed out is the least to say... But to be frank, our body is not that fragile!

If one's liver gets banged up to this extant, his/her whole immune system is so beaten up (not by the parasites alone, but by all the accumulated toxins, bacterias etc it has to defend) that its probably well on its way to the morgue. All of our systems are interconnected and is not isolated in causes and symptoms.
