Gethsemane Medical International was founded in the year 2009, prior to that Gethsemane Medical Care was run locally in Malaysia. Since then GMC has done almost 400 camps around Malaysian with the help of TA Securities.

GMI however has gone to countries such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Cambodia and Philippines. GMI is holistic in nature involving the transformation of the lives and society, championing social justice and restoring human dignity. It helps to provide a decent standard of living in deprived communities by meeting their practical needs through medical care.

GMI’s vision is to go beyond borders to provide and ever widening sphere of humanitarian and medical assistance, through the training of local partners while also being ready to provide relief in the event of disasters.

Fun Fact: GMI's First International camp was on the year 2009 to Cambodia. The beautiful city of Angkor Watt.

We saw and treated 290 people, providing free medical aid as well as some much needed joy.

GMI Volunteers had a great time serving. It was indeed a great experience
