St.John Ambulance Malaysia Pahang

John Ambulance Malaysia (SJAM) is Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to providing charity and humanity services to persons in sickness, suffering and danger without any distinction of race, color or creed. SJAM and all its members render aid to the sick and wounded in war or in peace and to promote such permanent organizations in the time of peace so that such aid may be immediately be

available in time of emergency and such aid shall include the provision of the technical reserves for the medical services of the Government and Armed Forces of Malaysia. These efforts also extends to similar organizations e.g. Red Crescent or Red Cross Societies both locally and internationally. In Malaysia, many schools have this organization as part of the co-curricular activity. Participation in such activity is highly appraised in the education syllabus. SJAM Pahang, through the Areas, has included many secondary school goers as members. SJAM also welcomes members from the public. Anyone interested in becoming a member, can contact the respective Area Commanders.
