In conjunction with World Mental Health Day, the Department of Psychiatry, Sultan Ahmad Shah Medical Centre (SASMEC ) held a meaningful event centered around the theme 'It is Time to Prioritise Mental Health in the Workplace.' The event, officiated by Dr. Siti Zainab Tauhed, Director (Administration) of SASMEC , has successfully encouraged participants to recognise the importance of mental well-being in professional settings.
Aside from the talk by our specialist, participants also had the opportunity to visit mental health awareness booths, which provided valuable resources and support for mental health management. The event highlighted the growing need to prioritise mental health and foster a supportive workplace environment for all.
