At our primary eye care centre, we conduct comprehensive eye examination, consists of a number of different checks, designed to identify early signs of eye or general medical condition, such as diabetes, glaucoma, high blood pressure, etc. We have our state-of-the-art instruments, such as digital retinal camera, non-contact eye pressure tonometer, visual field perimeter, and many more! We want any condition to be detected sooner, so that it can be managed appropriately, to reduce the risk of permanent vision loss. We also provide, correction of eye prescription with spectacles or contact lenses, whichever that suits your lifestyle and needs. Conducting eye health examination before fitting of contact lenses is one other area that we strongly advise to prevent future permanent damage. For children requiring special care such as amblyopia (lazy eye) and myopia (short-sighted) control, our optometrist could give appropriate management program, when applicable. Other services include detection of Irlen Syndrome (reading difficulty related to visual stress) in our specialty program. There will also be diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma screening in our centre. We are proud to say, we are definitely the first in Kuching, to have an optometry eye care centre over two floors, with an in-house (also the first!) Learning Hub, to provide periodic eyecare awareness program as a platform for you all to learn more about the eyes!
