Understanding the Elements of MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017

Date: 23 & 24 July 2025 (Wednesday & Thursday)

This workshop is specially designed for professionals in testing and calibration laboratories, focusing on the requirements, implementation, and best practices for achieving and maintaining accreditation under MS ISO/IEC 17025:2017.

We are pleased to update the venue for the upcoming Training on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Internal Audit, organized by the IKM Sarawak Branch. The details of the training are as follows:

■UPDATE: Venue: UNIMAS Business School, Kuching
♤Trainer: Assoc Prof Dr. Wee Boon Siong (UNIMAS)
$Fee: RM 750 (IKM Members), RM 950 (Non-Members)

This training aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of ISO 17025 requirements and the skills needed to conduct effective internal audits. By the end of the session, participants will gain the confidence and competence to contribute meaningfully to their laboratory’s compliance and quality systems.

📌IKM Refresher Course 2025!!!

This course is designed for candidates preparing for the IKM Final Examinations, which will be held at IKM Headquarters. It follows the official syllabus and will be conducted by experienced academicians independent of the IKM Examination Board.

● Course Modules (2025)
The refresher course comprises four modules with a total of 84 hours of lectures:

📍Physical Chemistry (21 hours)
📍Organic Chemistry (21 hours)
📍Inorganic Chemistry (21 hours)
📍Analytical Chemistry (21 hours)

The course will be held in the second half of the year as six 2-day weekend workshops (Saturday & Sunday).

🔎Course Fee: RM 5,000.00
