❌ Myth 6: Drinking lots of water before testing helps.
You might think drinking more water before testing will help you get a better sample, but the opposite is true! Overhydration can dilute your urine, making it harder for the test to detect hCG, which may lead to a false negative.
For the most accurate results, test using your first-morning urine, or avoid drinking excessive fluids before testing. Remember: it is about concentration, not volume.
