🧩 "When to Seek Help: Signs Your Child May Benefit from Occupational Therapy"
🎯 Introduction: What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT)?
Pediatric occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to participate in daily activities (or “occupations”) such as playing, eating, dressing, writing, and socializing. OTs work with children who are facing physical, sensory, cognitive, or emotional challenges that affect their ability to function independently.
But how do you know when your child might need OT? Every child develops at their own pace, but when difficulties start to impact everyday life, it might be time to seek help.
______________

Why Early Intervention Matters
Seeking help early can prevent small challenges from becoming bigger issues later. Pediatric OT can:
• Boost confidence and independence
• Improve school readiness and academic performance
• Strengthen social skills and peer relationships
