✨ Awareness Talk on Section 17A, MACC Act 2009 ✨

On Wednesday, 1 October 2025 , we had the privilege to welcome Mr. Hanizal from MACC Kedah for a special session on corporate liability under Section 17A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 . 🙌

The session gave us a clearer picture of how organizations can be held accountable, and more importantly, how we can all play our part in ensuring integrity is at the heart of everything we do. It wasn’t just about legal provisions, but also about building a stronger culture of trust, responsibility, and zero tolerance towards corruption. 💼✨

We truly appreciate the active participation and thoughtful questions from everyone who joined. Let’s carry forward this knowledge and continue to practice integrity — not just as individuals, but together as a team and as an organization. 💯👏

🎳💥 Bowling Strike Day with Wong Engineering! 💥🎳

On 26 Sept 2025 , Wong Engineering joined the Bowling Tournament organized by Kelab Kastam Kulim at Megamall Penang – and what a day it was! Filled with laughter, strikes, spares, and the occasional gutter ball (oops 🤭), the event brought together 38 teams from different companies to compete in the friendly showdown.

We were super excited to send two spirited teams:
✨ Stamping Department
✨ QA Department

Both teams gave it their all on the lanes, showing off not just their bowling skills, but also their teamwork and sporting spirit. After some tough competition, the results were in:
🏅 Stamping Department proudly landed at 17th place
🏅 QA Department followed closely behind at 19th place

Considering the number of teams, that’s a strike-worthy performance! 🎉 We’re so proud of their effort, energy, and the way they represented Wong Engineering. 👏

A huge thank you to Kelab Kastam Kulim for organizing such a fun and engaging event. It was not just about the competition, but also about connecting, cheering each other on, and creating memories outside of work. 💙

💙 Sharing Knowledge, Inspiring Future Engineers! 💙

We at Wong Engineering are thrilled to share that our CAD CAM Assistant Manager , Ms. Intan Nursyazana Binti Abdullah , was invited to speak at Politeknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah (PTSB) for a Knowledge-Sharing Session for the course Engineering and Society .✨

The session brought together over 120 students and lecturers who were eager to learn and connect with the industry. 🙌 Ms. Intan shared her journey in the engineering world and gave students a real glimpse of what life in the industry is all about. 💼✨

She covered exciting and meaningful topics like:
🌟 Professionalism & ethics in engineering
🌱 Sustainability & green engineering practices
🤖 Industrial Revolution 4.0 in industry
💼 The roles and responsibilities of engineers in society

🌿 WEC Health & Giving Day 2025 — Caring for Ourselves, Caring for Others!💪

What an incredible and meaningful day it has been! On 12 September 2025 , our WEC family came together to celebrate Health & Giving Day , and the turnout was truly heart-warming.

🩸 Blood Donation
A total of 41 colleagues stepped forward to donate blood — with 31 successful donations and 10 deferred for various reasons. Every drop of blood can save lives, and your willingness to give is deeply appreciated. Your act of kindness brings hope and healing to those in need.

A special congratulations and thank you to all our blood donors who won in the Lucky Draw👏🏻 — your generosity has truly made a difference, and we hope you enjoy your prizes!

🩺 Health Screening
We also saw 19 employees taking charge of their health by joining the health screening session. It was inspiring to see so many of you making wellness a priority.

🍫 Season Garden Booth
Employees also got to enjoy product sampling of the Chocolate Malt Drink & Jam, plus a fun promotion — purchase RM20 and receive a free tin of sardines!

💡 Knowledge is Protection: Sexual Harassment Awareness

✨ On 4 September 2025 , Wong Engineering was honored to host Ms. Karen Lai, Programme Director of the Women’s Centre for Change (WCC) , for an Awareness Talk on Sexual Harassment at the Workplace: What Employees Need to Know.

The session provided powerful insights into how harassment can affect individuals and organizations, and more importantly, how we can all take proactive steps to create a workplace grounded in safety, respect, and inclusivity.

🌼 Ms. Karen’s expertise and experience gave us the tools to better recognize inappropriate behavior, respond effectively, and support one another in upholding dignity at work.

🎉 We Are the Champions – Trainerthon 2025! 🏆at BERTAM RESORT - 22 JUNE 2025

We are thrilled to share some fantastic news — our Engineering team has been crowned the Overall Champion of the inaugural Trainerthon 2025, held in conjunction with National Training Week by HRD Corp!

Trainerthon 2025, hosted at Bertam Resort and Water Park in Penang, brought together over 1,000 participants from both the public and private sectors. It was a national platform that tested not only physical strength but also strategic thinking, collaboration, and leadership, and we emerged on top!

Our win is more than a trophy — it's a reflection of the incredible teamwork, resilience, and dedication each of you brings to our organisation every day. It’s also a proud moment to be part of a national milestone that entered the Malaysia Book of Records for the most corporate team-building facilities in a resort.

One of the highlights? Practicing the Mindfulness ABC Breath — a simple way to reset when things get overwhelming:

🔤 A – Aware : Notice what you’re feeling, relax your body beginning with your toes, consciously relaxing each part of your body as you move upwards. Imagine a wave of relaxation flowing from your toes up through your legs, torso, arms, and finally to your head.

🔤 B – Breathe : Focus on the rhythm of your breathing, allowing each inhale and exhale to bring you deeper into relaxation

🔤 C – Calm : Come back to your calm center

It’s an easy way to pause, reset, and get back in control. Seriously — give it a try when your day gets a little too much. 🌬️🧘‍♂️
