关爱老人痴呆的讲座
感恩所有家人们出席也感恩今天能遇到彼此
特别感谢生命关怀教育学会的大力推广与支持而且提供我们舒适的场地做分享给大家💕

在开场的时候 Racheal Goh也带领大家看了一部电影 Still Alice 2014 讲述了一位50岁的成功女性患上老人痴呆以及她遇到的生活琐事。让人最心疼的一幕是主角在自己家里迷了路那种无助的感觉。

Datuk Dr Yee 分享了许多症状与案例
并且再次提醒所有人发现症状尽早就医
或者本身被子女或周围的人要求去看医生也不要去拒绝当作去认识医生也好 💕
有能力的人也可以先规划好自己老后的生活
例如饮食起居厕所门的装修等等
至少在还有能力的时候为自己做点什么
不要等老了才后悔

Racheal Goh 在分享过程中一直提醒大家千万不要拒绝学习的机会！因为很重要！另外她也教大家如何在日常生活中找出学习的状态。训练自己不常用的手也可以开发自己的左右脑噢 💕

An Story of an Autistic Boy to a Special Olympics Swimmer

"I grew up and come to love a few things such as singing songs, Jay Chou especially, dancing, badminton and swimming.

Jay chou song was simply amazing. The beats of his songs, the lyrics he use lifts up my mood and made my day great. I would even listen to his song until I am able to memorize the lyrics and sing it all day along. Let me tell u a secret, my mom got so tired of me singing his song that she would change the radio channel whenever she come across Jay’s song.

Besides singing song, I would also do swimming daily. I was inspired to do swimming by my late dad. I would go into pool to swim almost everyday when he’s still around and that was one of my happiest day in life. Proud to say, I can swim freestyle and breaststroke really well.

One day I come to meet coach Alvin with my mom by fate during a certain NGO event and he came to me and tell me how talented I was in swimming. Can you imagine how proud I felt on that day? As time goes by, we join the ‘Persatuan Special Olympic Melaka’ an organization that is organize and help special need kids to do sports and help us grow.

I train and swim almost everyday so that I can join the Swimming National Games competition. I work so hard that I would throw my temper on my mom at times. I even felt so tired and exhausted that I wish to quit. Thankfully my mom and coach Alvin did not give up on me and continue to encourage me to train and swim.

During the National games, I manage to win ……. and even got selected to represent Malaysia to join the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin coming June. I am amaze and proud at my achievement that I would brag to my mother all day long. Even to this day.

Finally, I would like to give thanks to everyone that help and support me in my life journey. I know its not easy but I promise to not give up and work extra hard to make all those that support me proud.
