Parliament has just approved PERKESO's Lindung 24/7 scheme — the biggest worker protection reform since 1969.
What does this mean?
✅ Nearly 10 million workers will be covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
✅ Protection now extends beyond the workplace — including accidents at home or on weekends
✅ Workers can access medical care, rehabilitation, and disability support whenever they need it
For families caring for loved ones recovering from accidents or illness, this is a meaningful step forward. Workers who previously had to pay out-of-pocket for non-work-related injuries will now have access to PERKESO benefits.
