🧧🎲 Learning Through Play: CNY Math & Fine Motor Activity 🔢
This week at Playtpus, children explored early math concepts through a festive dice activity using red envelopes. Using number cards and quantity cards, children were guided through two learning outcomes:
✨ What children are learning through this activity:
🗣 Language & Vocabulary – using words such as number, count, more, less, same, and different
🧠 Cognitive Skills – recognising patterns, making decisions, and problem-solving
✋ Fine Motor Skills – gripping cards, inserting them into the red envelope, and controlling hand movements
🔢 Early Numeracy – number recognition, quantity awareness, and matching skills
👀 Attention & Self-Regulation – focusing, waiting for turns, and following instructions

在今天的动手学习活动中，孩子们通过结合红包的骰子游戏，探索基础数学概念。孩子们使用数字卡与数量卡，体验两个学习重点。

🗣 语言与词汇 —— 学习与运用「数字、数一数、多、少、一样、不一样」等词汇
🧠 认知能力 —— 辨认规律、做出简单判断，并发展解决问题的能力
✋ 精细动作能力 —— 抓握卡片、将卡片放入红包中，提升手部控制与协调能力
🔢 初步数学概念 —— 数字认知、数量概念及配对能力
👀 专注力与自我管理 —— 练习专心、轮流等待及遵从指示
