Tahniah kepada penerima pertama vaksin RSV di Regency Specialist Hospital

Kami dengan sukacitanya mengumumkan bahawa vaksin Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) kini tersedia di klinik kami.
🔬 Apa itu RSV?
RSV ialah virus pernafasan biasa yang boleh menyebabkan jangkitan saluran pernafasan bawah yang serius seperti bronkiolitis dan pneumonia, terutamanya dalam kalangan bayi di bawah usia 6 bulan.
👶 Lindungi Bayi Anda Sebelum Dilahirkan
Vaksin RSV untuk ibu mengandung (contohnya, Abrysvo oleh Pfizer) disyorkan untuk wanita hamil yang berada di antara 32 hingga 36 minggu kehamilan. Vaksin ini membantu ibu menghasilkan antibodi yang akan dipindahkan kepada bayi melalui plasenta, memberikan perlindungan sejurus selepas lahir sehingga umur 6 bulan.

Cystic teratoma is the most common ovarian neoplasm.
It consists of well-differentiated derivatives of germ cell layers (i.e., ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm) developing as hair, muscle, teeth, or bone.

These tumors are generally benign but may undergo a malignant transformation in 1% to 2% of the cases.

Due to their higher incidence in females between ages 20 and 40, and the risk of complications particularly torsion, it is important to treat them by surgical removal.

囊性畸胎瘤是最常见的卵巢肿瘤。
它由分化良好的生殖细胞层（即外胚层、中胚层和内胚层）衍生物组成，发育为毛发肌肉、🦷牙齿或骨🦴
这些肿瘤通常是良性的，但 1% 至 2% 的病例可能会发生恶性转化。
由于它们在 20 至 40 岁之间的女性🙋‍♀️中发病率较高，并且并发症风险（尤其是扭转），
因此通过手术🔪切除治疗非常重要。

Recently, we handled two cases of young girls with acute abdominal pain due to ovarian torsion.

In the first case, prompt diagnosis allowed us to save the o***y, as the blood supply was still intact. Unfortunately, the second girl presented 5 days after pain began, leading to complete obstruction of the blood supply. As a result, her o***y was gangrenous and needed removal.

Ovarian torsion involves the twisting of the o***y on its ligamentous supports, which can obstruct its blood supply. It's a serious gynecologic emergency.

If you experience:

Worsening pain
Pain that becomes more frequent or localized
Pain that doesn't improve within 1-2 days
Seek medical advice promptly.

Successfully performed a laparoscopic surgery to remove two large uteruses, weighing 912 grams and 674grams in a day .
These case proves that size is not a barrier to laparoscopic procedures.
