We were delighted to welcome students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Kampar Campus, to our Bukit Raja Distribution Centre in Klang for an Academic Collaboration Programme.

The visit began with a welcome speech by our CEO, Mr. Steven Teow, followed by an insightful presentation by our BD Director, Mr. Wan Zanil Hairiz, on The Role of Logistics in Global Trade and E-Commerce. Students also had the opportunity to tour our warehouse facilities and observe our operations first-hand, gaining valuable exposure to real-world logistics processes.

Emergency Response Team Training in Action

At CJ Century, safety is always a top priority. Our Emergency Response Team (ERT) recently participated in a one-day hands-on training conducted by experienced instructors from Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Sungai Pinang.

This essential training was designed to equip our ERT members with basic emergency response skills, enabling them to act quickly and effectively in times of crisis — whether it's fire, evacuation, or workplace emergencies.

From fire safety techniques to real-life response simulations, the session was informative, practical, and a timely reminder of the importance of being prepared.

We were delighted to welcome students and lecturers from the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam on Wednesday, 18 June 2025 as part of our ongoing effort to connect with young Malaysian minds about the logistics industry and help shape a future-ready workforce.

The visit featured a corporate sharing session on “The Role of Logistics in Global Trade and E-Commerce”, presented by Encik Wan Zanil Hairiz, Director of Business Development. This was followed by a lively roundtable session, “How Gen Z Sees the Future of Logistics”, where students engaged in open dialogue with our team, sharing their ideas and perspectives on the evolving world of logistics.

Our Waste-to-Cash Recycling Programme held on 17 June 2025 was a meaningful step forward in our sustainability journey.

We were thrilled by the overwhelming response from our colleagues, who actively embraced the spirit of sustainability by contributing a wide range of recyclable items. Thanks to this collective effort, we successfully diverted 𝟱𝟭𝟳.𝟵𝟭𝗸𝗴 of waste (excluding fabric) from landfills and giving it a second life.

We were especially pleased to collaborate with Zero Waste Earth Store, who brought along a wonderful selection of eco-friendly products. Their sustainable alternatives support both personal well-being and environmental responsibility.

Let’s keep the momentum going and continue building a culture of sustainability together. Every item we recycle brings us one step closer to a cleaner and healthier planet for future generations.

On Friday, 9th May 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting 32 students from the Faculty of Business and Management, Department of Transportation, UiTM Pasir Gudang, for an industrial visit to our Johor Branch facilities. This visit aimed to provide the students with first-hand exposure to real-world logistics operations, complementing their academic learning with practical industry insights.

To enrich their experience, we invited our General Manager, Mr. Steve Lee; our Senior Manager of Contract Logistics, Encik Mohammad Farid; and our Manager of Contract Logistics, Encik Ahmad Zharif, to share their insights on the challenges and opportunities in today’s dynamic logistics landscape.

The session concluded with a guided tour of our warehouse, where students witnessed our day-to-day operations and learned how we tailor our logistics solutions to meet diverse client needs.

This engagement reflects our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community by supporting education and empowering future industry leaders.
