🥺At just three years old, the little boy had already begun a journey few would expect such a young child to face — the journey of living with eczema since birth.

🏷️His mother first came to our pharmacy seeking help for her son’s worsening skin condition. When he first visited, he was lively and full of energy — curious, yet restless. However, he refused to be touched, making it difficult for us to assess his condition. His skin was extremely dry, marked by redness, wounds, and areas of thickened skin from persistent scratching. The constant itch left countless scratch marks across his tiny body and his little fingers kept moving, desperately searching for relief. It was hard for him to stay still or focus for long.

🏷️After consulting with Ms. Sim, it was confirmed he had eczema. From his mother, we also learned about his allergies to egg, tomato sauce, dairy its common triggers that explained much of his discomfort. Together with his family, we began a careful, consistent routine based on our “REVEAL Holistic Management” approach with a journey of healing that required gentleness, patience, and commitment.

🏷️Following Ms. Sim’s management plan, they established daily routines to care for his skin. Regular moisturizing, especially before bedtime, became a key part of his recovery. Slowly but surely, the itching reduced, and he began sleeping more peacefully at night.

🏷️Still, the journey hasn’t been easy. His skin remains dry at times, and scratch marks can reappear even despite everyone’s best efforts. He is still too young to understand why certain foods are off-limits or why his skin feels the way it does. It’s heartbreaking at times. But through it all, one thing is clear we know he is strong.

🏷️We’ve all learned so much from him. He has taught us the true meaning of resilience and patience. His journey has brought us closer to families facing similar struggles and reminded us of the power of compassion, understanding, and care. Eczema remains part of his life, but it no longer defines every moment. He continues to grow, laugh, and shine stronger with every step forward.

🏷️This is just the beginning of his story, but already it’s filled with courage, love, and progress. With knowledge, support, and dedication, his parents are now empowered to manage his condition and face the future with hope and confidence.

🥺Once, there was a bright and energetic 5-year-old girl who had been living with eczema since she was just a year old. She also had allergies to seafood and eggs. Her skin was often dry, itchy, and irritated. No matter how much she scratched, the discomfort never seemed to go away — and it was especially hard for someone so young.

🏷️Despite her condition, she never missed out on the joys of childhood. She loved playing both indoors and outdoors. Her mother tried everything — including visits to skin specialists — but nothing seemed to bring lasting relief.

One day, a concerned couple walked into our pharmacy carrying their 4-month-old baby. They were seeking help for his skin, which had become visibly inflamed. His entire face was red, dry, and irritated — a worrying sight for any parent.

The mother explained that they only used air-conditioning in the living room, so the baby’s bedroom remained warm. They had been applying ointment to the affected areas, but saw little improvement. Despite his discomfort, the baby remained calm and quiet throughout the assessment — a little warrior.

When our consultant, Ms. Sim, examined the baby's skin, she quickly identified the condition as seborrheic dermatitis — a common, chronic skin condition in infants. We explained to the parents that this condition often affects areas of the body with many oil glands, such as the face and scalp. It’s marked by red, inflamed skin and flaky, yellowish scales, and tends to come and go in cycles.

During the consultation, we took the time to educate the parents on:
• How to care for their baby’s skin daily
• What to do during flare-ups
• What to avoid to prevent irritation
