For me, I'm going to be teaching a hypnosis class to a group of eager learners from 9am to 5pm. Some may consider that as work, but I see it as so it's going to be a whole lot of fun.

Do you find yourself thinking 'I don't have time for this?'

I'm not talking about listening to other people's gossip or being caught up in relationship drama.

I'm talking about taking a short break, having a meal when you are hungry, going to bed at night, taking a power nap, doing exercises, etc.

When life becomes stressful, it's so easy to get stuck. It's the feeling of nothing can go right.

It's the endless loop of 'why is this happening to me?' that just sucks the life out of you.

I know because I have had my fair share of these energy-sucking days too.

But I started doing this exercise which I show you in this video and it helped me to quickly regain control of my personal power.

In 2010, I found myself living without a monthly salary for the very first time since dropping out of college in 1997.

I made the leap of faith from the corporate world to start my own business and pursue my passion to help people empower themselves.

And the first few months were, shall I say... too much time freedom 😅 (That means no business lah)

So, I had to do something fast in order to make ends meet. I have a family to feed, afterall and the banks aren't giving me a moratorium for my mortage and car loan.

And against this backdrop, I scored my first big win. I made around RM25K in 1 afternoon and it was this event that taught me that I can do anything I want if I put my whole heart behind it.

You see, up until that point I wasn't getting any training gigs at all. And it's not easy when you are a one-man-show operating out of a small town in Sarawak.

So, one day I had a wild idea. Why don't I organise it and sell tickets to the public to attend?

And that's what I did. But I only had 30 days to make it happen.

Er... why only 30 days?

Well, because I got the idea in March to organise Miri's first ever Secretaries Conference and the Secretary Day is usually celebrated in April in Malaysia.

So, I had to do this guerilla style... and fast.

It was a very exciting 30 days to say the least as I embarked on my maiden project.

No Facebook, no Instagram, no YouTube at that time... really made me wonder now how I pulled that off 😇 in such a tight timeline.
