For us,
“acceptance” has never been just a word—
it’s a real and often long journey.
From not understanding, to learning to understand,
from resisting, to slowly embracing,
from asking “why me,”
to now being able to say—
“thank you for showing me a different world.”

They don’t need to be compared,
and they don’t need to be changed to fit expectations.
They are not “children who need fixing.”
They simply experience, express,
