A Heartwarming CSR Visit to PIBAKIS Miri ❤️

At Haluan Cekap Sdn Bhd (HCSB), we believe that corporate success goes beyond business—it’s also about giving back to the community. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, our team recently had the privilege of visiting PIBAKIS Miri, marking our first engagement with the center. This visit was a truly meaningful experience for all of us, reinforcing the importance of compassion, awareness, and support for those in need.
Upon arrival, our 12-member team was warmly welcomed by PIBAKIS Miri’s Chief Administrator, Mdm. Wong Siew Ding, along with the dedicated supervisors who work tirelessly to support the residents. They shared how much this visit meant to them and expressed their gratitude for the contributions we brought, which included essential daily supplies and, more importantly, the moral support and companionship that we offered.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to tour the facility, observe the daily routines of the 99 residents, and interact with them in a meaningful way. Seeing their smiles as we engaged in conversations and activities was incredibly rewarding. As a small gesture of warmth and care, we ended our visit by sharing and serving mandarin oranges to the residents and staff, adding a festive and heartfelt touch to our time together.
For us at HCSB, initiatives like this are more than just a company effort—they are a way to foster stronger bonds with the community and make a lasting impact. Angelina Juna, our Director, highlighted how important these engagements are in helping us better understand underprivileged communities and create awareness of their needs. Similarly, Wan Mohd Hidayat, our Project Manager, emphasized that visits like these are part of our annual CSR program, and we are committed to continuing similar outreach efforts in the future.
We are truly grateful for this experience and look forward to more opportunities to contribute to the community.
