We are truly grateful to Mr. Tey for bravely sharing his journey to recovery with us. Mr Tey underwent TKR surgery that significantly improved his mobility and quality of life.⁣

🩺 Under the care of Dr. Tan Wei Jing, our consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon, Mr. Tey undergoes robotic-assisted TKR surgery. What surprised him the most was how quickly he regained his strength after the surgery, with no pain at all. ⁣

About Us

KPJ Bandar Maharani Specialist Hospital (KPJ BMSH) is the 25th KPJ hospital under the flagship of the KPJ Healthcare Bhd; and the 5th KPJ hospital in the state of Johor. Opened on 6th June 2014, KPJ BMSH is the first (and the only) private specialist hospital in Bandar Maharani, Muar – a historical town and the capital of Muar District and also strategically located at the northern part of Johor, Malaysia.

KPJ BMSH is well-equipped with the latest and modern technologies that offers full range of services such as Inpatient and Outpatient Medical-Surgical Services, Diagnostic Imaging Services, Medical Laboratory Services, Physiotherapy Services, Dietary Services, Pharmacy Services and 24-Hours Accident & Emergency Services. Currently, the hospital have the capacity of 71 beds, 5 ICU beds, and 4 Day Ward beds; with 16 Clinics, 2 Operation Theaters and 3 Labour Rooms.

KPJ BMSH aim to provide most comfortable experience during your stay. Our rooms are available in all ranges of room types, from VVIP Suite, Premier Suite, Single Deluxe, Single Standard, Two-Bedded and Four-Bedded; with complimentary personal toiletries and even free Wi-Fi in all rooms.

KPJ BMSH also provides the Arteriovenous Fistular (AVF) Procedure for dialysis patients at the hospital dialysis centre. The hospital obtained Ministry of Health Malaysia's CKAPS Licence in late November 2016; and since that, it has been regularly dialysing patients from Muar and Segamat, who would otherwise be required to travel to Johor Bahru for the procedure. 27 February 2017 was the official launching of KPJ Bandar Maharani Dialysis Centre, which currently licensed for 9 dialysis bays (inclusive of Hepatitis B & Hepatitis C bays).
