[Meet Our Speakers Series]

Introducing Dr Norsiah Binti Ali, who will be delivering the keynote address on "Healthy Ageing for All: Transforming Primary Care Delivery for Malaysia's Older Adults".

She is a senior Family Medicine Specialist and Addiction Medicine expert with over 30 years of experience in public health and primary care. Currently serving as the Director of the Family Health Development Division (Bahagian Pembangunan Kesihatan Keluarga), Ministry of Health Malaysia, she has led national efforts in addiction treatment, HIV/AIDS care, and family health services.

Dr. Norsiah played a key role in pioneering harm reduction programs such as Methadone Maintenance Therapy and Needle Syringe Exchange Services in Malaysia. A prolific researcher and author of over 70 publications, she has also contributed to national guidelines and health education materials. She previously served as President of the Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia and continues to mentor clinicians and influence policy in both family and addiction medicine.
