هَلْ عِلْمُ النَّفْسِ يُخَالِفُ دِينَنَا؟ أَلَيْسَ هُوَ عِلْمٌ غَرْبِيٌّ عِلْمَانِيٌّ؟

👨‍⚕️ الجَوَابُ:
نَعَم، نَنْتَقِدُ عِلْمَ النَّفْسِ العِلْمِيَّ فِي مَفَاهِيمِهِ العِلْمَانِيَّةِ، وَلَكِنَّ أَدَوَاتِهِ وَطُرُقَهُ مُفِيدَةٌ. وَنَعْتَبِرُ أَيْضًا أَنَّ عِلْمَ النَّفْسِ الإِسْلَامِيَّ التُّرَاثِيَّ قَيِّمٌ فِي مَفَاهِيمِهِ، لَكِنَّ بَعْضَ أُسْلُوبِهِ التَّطْبِيقِيِّ قَدْ لَا يُنَاسِبُ زَمَانَنَا. لِذَلِكَ نُقَدِّمُ عِلْمَ النَّفْسِ الإِسْلَامِيَّ-العِلْمِيَّ كَنَهْجٍ يُوَفِّقُ بَيْنَ الأَصَالَةِ وَالْمُعَاصَرَةِ.

👤 Question:
Does psychology contradict our religion? Isn’t it a secular Western science?

👨‍⚕️ Answer:
Yes, we critique scientific psychology for its secular concepts — but its tools and methods are useful. Traditional Islamic psychology offers strong conceptual foundations, but some of its techniques may not suit our modern context. That’s why we offer Islamic-scientific psychology — combining the best of both worlds: tradition and modernity.

Adakah psikologi bercanggah dengan agama kita? Bukankah ia ilmu sekular dari Barat?

👨‍⚕️ Jawapan:
Ya, kita mengkritik psikologi saintifik pada konsep sekularnya — tetapi kaedah dan tekniknya tetap bermanfaat. Psikologi Islam tradisional p**a kaya dengan konsep dan nilai, namun sesetengah pendekatannya mungkin tidak sesuai dengan zaman kini. Justeru, kami membawa psikologi Islamik-saintifik sebagai pendekatan yang menggabungkan yang terbaik daripada warisan Islam dan sains moden.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP DAY (30 JULY)

Research has suggested that at most, we only have 150 people who we can truly call friends. The rest are actually acquaintances and strangers.

According to the theory, the tightest circle has just five people – loved ones. That’s followed by successive layers of 15 (good friends), 50 (friends), 150 (meaningful contacts), 500 (acquaintances) and 1500 (people you can recognise).

Note: I only have 1.5k Facebook friends that I know them at personal level.
