The Malaysia DCB Symposium 2025 concluded with great success, bringing together global leaders in interventional cardiology to share cutting-edge knowledge and advancements in Drug-Coated Balloon (DCB) technology. This impactful scientific meeting was attended by both local and international participants, reflecting its strong educational value and wide clinical relevance.

This prestigious event was graced by renowned experts in the cardiology fraternity:

🔹 Dr. Sandeep Basavarajaiah (UK)
🔹 Prof. Emeritus Wan Azman (Malaysia)
🔹 Dr. Rustem Dautov (Australia)
🔹 Dr. Koshi Matsuo (Japan)

The symposium highlighted how the emergence of Drug-Coated Balloon therapy has revolutionised the therapeutic armamentarium in PCI. Once a niche solution for in-stent restenosis, DCB has now evolved into a credible and effective treatment option for de novo lesions, offering new hope for complex disease subsets.

We are proud to share that Dr. Shahidi Jamaludin, our renowned Consultant Interventional Cardiologist from KPJ Pasir Gudang Specialist Hospital, was invited as one of the panelists, contributing in the session:
“Magic Touch in Small, Diffuse and Long Lesions.”
