To the breastfeeding mom,
Don't judge the formula-feeding mom for βnot getting the same bonding experience.β She may not have been able to produce enough milk. Or maybe her baby didnβt latch, and she was in pain. Or maybe she had the baby blues. Sheβs not lazy or a bad mom because βbreast is best.β What sheβs dealing with every day is harder than you know.
To the formula-feeding mom,
Donβt judge the breastfeeding mom. Donβt tell her that her baby would sleep through the night with formula or is βtoo skinny.β What sheβs dealing with every day is harder than you know.
To the working mom,
Donβt judge the stay-at-home mom for being βjustβ a stay-at-home mom. Donβt assume she hangs out all day catching up on reality shows. Sheβs comforting her preschooler, cleaning up non-stop messes, and rocking a fussy baby to sleep. What sheβs dealing with every day is harder than you know.
To the stay-at-home mom,
Donβt judge the working mom for missing out when sheβs struggling to find the balance. She feels so much guilt not being able to volunteer. What sheβs dealing with every day is harder than you know.
And donβt judge the mom who homeschools, co-sleeps, baby-wears, and lets her kids use iPads, etc.
Thereβs a lot thatβs broken for mothers in our society.
No matter how she parents, being a mom is hard.
So, let's be messy together because we know:
