Program MOSTI STI 100^3 2025

Tajuk aktiviti: 'Menstrual cycle journey: Science and Self Care'
Anjuran: Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI) dengan kerjasama Pusat Pengajian Sains Farmasi (PPSF) USM, dengan agen penggerak Akademi Sains Malaysia (ASM)

Sekolah padanan: SMK Kubang Kerian 1, Kelantan
Jumlah pelajar: 45 orang

Program STI 100Β³ adalah inisiatif Kementerian Sains, Teknologi dan Inovasi (MOSTI) yang bertujuan untuk memupuk minat pelajar terhadap STEM. Program ini melibatkan 100 saintis dan 100 sekolah, dengan aktiviti luar bilik darjah yang interaktif dan kolaboratif untuk memperkenalkan aplikasi sebenar STI kepada pelajar.

Dalam program anjuran bersama PPSF ini, setiap pelajar diberi satu naskhah modul dan diselangi dengan pendekatan interaktif seperti aktiviti melukis, susun suai gambar, gelang fasa haid, demonstrasi penggunaan produk haid, dan penggunaan kalendar haid. Modul ini membantu pelajar memahami perubahan tubuh, fasa kitaran haid, serta penjagaan kebersihan diri dengan betul.

Melalui pembelajaran interaktif, pelajar meneroka konsep biologi berkaitan sistem pembiakan wanita, hormon, dan perubahan fisiologi semasa haid. Modul ini turut menggalakkan pemikiran kritikal, eksplorasi diri, dan aplikasi pengetahuan STEM dalam aspek kesihatan diri dan pengurusan kebersihan yang berkesan. Program ini adalah selari dengan SDG 3 (Kesihatan Baik dan Kesejahteraan) dan juga SDG 4 (Pendidikan Bermutu).

Diharap juga program seperti ini boleh meningkatkan keyakinan diri para pelajar untuk bercakap dengan lebih terbuka tentang haid. Peranan pegawai farmasi juga turut diketengahkan sebagai professional kesihatan yang boleh menawarkan maklumat asas mengenai kesihatan reproduktif.

PPSF PHARMILY SHONE IN 24TH ASIAN CONFERENCE ON CLINICAL PHARMACY 2025 (ACCP 2025)

The 24th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP 2025) lit up the beautiful island of Bali from July 24th to 26th, 2025, hosted at The Stones Hotel Legian, Bali, Indonesia. This prestigious event, spearheaded by Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia and co-organised by over 10 esteemed institutions across Indonesia, brought together leading minds under the theme "Beyond the Limit: Advancement and Innovation of Asian Clinical Pharmacy.”

With a mission to break new ground in research, education, and clinical pharmacy practice, the conference served as a vibrant hub for over 750 participants from 23 countries. This dynamic gathering brought together academics, pharmacists, health economists, policymakers, and industry leaders from across Asia to exchange ideas and drive innovation. Malaysia proudly fielded a strong and diverse delegation of approximately 24 participants, representing Universiti Sains Malaysia, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, KPJ Healthcare University, University of Cyberjaya, Taylor’s University and Sunway University.

As always, the PPSF Pharmily stood out, lighting up the event with their outstanding contributions and vibrant presence. Their participation exemplified a perfect blend of scientific excellence, leadership, and community spirit. Here’s a snapshot of their achievements:
