Meet Stephnie Chew, our Assistant Manager, Patient Services (Cancer Services) — one of the first faces you’ll meet at our Cancer Centre.
With 11 years of experience in customer service, Stephnie carries a warmth that makes conversations feel lighter, even on difficult days. She listens attentively, speaks gently, and ensures every patient feels seen, heard, and supported.
Her role goes beyond coordination — from arranging appointments and assisting patients cases to managing concerns with empathy, she ensures each patient’s journey is smooth and dignified. Many mornings, she begins as early as 8am, personally guiding patients to their treatment locations so they never feel lost or alone.
She cherishes the joyful moments of seeing patients fully recover — those victories mean everything to her.
At the same time, she has also walked alongside patients who were already in the terminal phase. Witnessing their strength and vulnerability has deepened her appreciation for life. Those moments have touched her heart in ways that continue to shape how she serves others.
They remind her to treasure every day, value every human being equally, and continue serving with kindness and wholehearted compassion.
