Toddler Playgroup - Activity Daily Living

Sparkling Smiles in the Making! 😁

In today’s daily living activity, our little learners discovered the importance of dental care by practicing how to brush their teeth the right way! We "stained" pretend teeth with markers and paint, and the kids had to brush them clean — scrubbing away every spot with care and focus. It was a fun and hands-on way to learn about oral hygiene and the power of a good brushing routine!

Little Caregivers in Action! 🩹💙

Today, our kids practiced important daily living skills by learning how to care for minor injuries and wounds. Using plasters, cotton buds, and lots of gentle care, they role-played tending to cuts and scrapes just like real caregivers. This hands-on activity helped build empathy, responsibility, and confidence in looking after themselves and others!

Our little ones worked on their fine motor skills by threading colorful straws onto pipe cleaners, creating their very own rainy clouds! Each raindrop was carefully "strung" with focus and fun, turning a simple craft into a delightful learning experience. It was a wonderful way to boost hand-eye coordination while letting creativity shine!

Little Chefs in Action – Palitaw Magic! 🍚👩‍🍳

Our young cooks rolled up their sleeves and tried their hands at making Palitaw, a beloved Filipino delicacy! Using simple ingredients like glutinous rice flour, water, grated coconut, sugar, and toasted sesame seeds, they created sweet, chewy treats with so much love and excitement. The joy on their faces was priceless as they watched their little creations float to the top — a sign they were ready! To make it even more special, each child brought home their handmade Palitaw to share with their family.
