A bit pricy but taste pretty good here at Restoran Canton Poh Kei Kopitiam (next to St Ignatius Church at Taman Mayang…. Siu Yuk Curry Noodles (RM12 with score 7/10) broth was pretty thick and yummy…. Siu yuk was crispy and tasty while the steamed chicken drumsticks (RM11 with score 7.5/10) was tender and taste great. Iced Kopi C (RM4 with score 5/10) was a bit of let down though. Overall was satisfying.

My go-to ramen spot whenever I’m in Phnom Penh. Honestly, this might be the best ramen I’ve had outside of Hokkaido, Japan 😋 The Oh-Gon Ramen broth was incredibly rich and easily their standout bowl.

Not sure if I got the restaurant name right…. It has a Russian name, Агрязский ресторанъ (chinese name is 哈尔滨阿格雷餐厅). It was established in 1923 and still carry the old European Russian feel. Menu was pretty interesting. There are many Russian restaurants in Harbin but country this out when in Harbin. Score: 8/10.

One of the most iconic chinese Cantonese restaurant in Ipoh…. Restaurant Mun Choong has been in operation since 1978.

The red tilapia fish was super fresh with lovely ginger sauce, the big head river prawns were also fresh with loads of roe and the pork knuckle was so carefully braised with dry chillies. (Score: 9/10)

This is a very lovely cafe cm bar cm restaurant located at the Perak Turf Club. A big variety of food and drinks menu but we just settled for simple ones. The Portuguese egg tart looked so so but tasted damn good (score: 7.5/10). Fruits tonal andtThe Matcha drinks was just normal (6/10).

Cowan Street Chicken by Ann Xin was a nice place if you want tougher chicken rice in Ipoh. It is much cleaner and comfortable than the usual talk about restaurant. The kampung chicken was reasonably good (score: 6.5/10). Braised chicken feet was super succulent and yummy (7/10).

Cari cari makan Ipoh …. First Stop Is Yee Fatt Kopitiam famoys for its Dry Curry Noodles with Siu yuk and curry chicken …. Unfortunately all sold out by 12noon and have to settle for char Siew…. Dry curry Noodles was not bad (score: 6.5/10) and the fish balls at RM1.20 per pc were pretty fresh and good (7/10). Overall not bad but need to come very early.

Ordered half Salmon fish set at RM288++ and this sushi/sashimi boat was the highlight. Also included in the set was grilled fish head syioyaki, grilled salmon belly, sake maki and salmon soup. Good deal if you like Salmon.
