It was an honour to be invited by Prof. Nathan from to speak on “Managing My Mental Health as an Older Person.”

During the session, I shared key signs to look out for and practical strategies that can help seniors maintain good emotional and mental well-being. It was also a privilege to listen to Dr. Azira, who spoke about Life Transitions, as well as Ms. Monica and Ms. Philomena, whose heartfelt personal stories deeply resonated with the audience.

The discussions highlighted how much more needs to be done to strengthen mental health awareness and access to care in Malaysia. Awareness initiatives like these play a vital role in fostering understanding and encouraging open conversations about mental health.

I am honoured to be part of an upcoming public forum organised by IHT Academy and IHT Rehab, where professionals will come together to discuss the importance of emotional wellbeing and mental health across different stages of life.
